Jail & Detention Centers 

The most common documents that may need to be notarized in a jail or detention center include but are not limited to:

 

• Temporary Custody of Minors

• Power of Attorney

• Vehicle Release

The following are guidelines for scheduling a jail or detention center signing:

• Please schedule signings with 48 hours' notice.

• Payment is due before the signing.

• Payments are non-refundable if the signing is prohibited for any reason, such as facility issues or an inmate refusing to sign. 

• All documents that need to be notarized must be completed in their entirety in the presence of the notary.
